Journey Scholars for 2018

Since 2002, WNC Communities has distributed $163,000 in scholarships to 155 youth living in our rural communities. This year, 13 deserving high school seniors received a total of $12,000 to expand their educational journey onward to college. We are pleased to announce the 2018 Journey Scholars:

Pat Brinkley Shulimson Scholar: This scholarship is given to a Journey Scholarship recipient with outstanding leadership abilities. We are pleased to announce that Aidan Spradlin was chosen to receive this additional scholarship of $500.
